Well, get ready everyone because gionight is back in action with some astounding Skyrim screenshots. Now we’ll be honest here; after viewing these screenies we wanted to restart Skyrim and play it with gionight’s mod collection. Okay, I now want to play a racing game. This is what came to my mind while watching this video from YouTube user ‘chadsmith20’. We do know that iRacing is one of the best racing sims but it appears that nothing can really come close to it at this point. Sure, GT5 and Forza 4 have better presentation but when you properly setup your system, iRacing’s experience is unmatched. It appears that a lot of PC gamers love soccer games, as Football Manager 2012 is still at the top place of the retail UK PC charts. Followed by Skyrim, FM2012 proves that there is a huge market for manager games. Well, at least if there is a good one as EA’s attempt is nowhere to be found. Although Battlefield 3 gained some places last week, it is behind Modern Warfare 3. On the other hand, both Assassin’s Creed: Revelations and Batman: Arkham City lost four and two places, respectively. Autonomous Games has announced that their Unreal Engine 3 indie game, The Afflicted, will be released on January 2012 and will support DX11. This means that The Afflicted will feature Multi-sample anti-aliasing, Image-Based Reflections, Tessellation, Screen Space Occlusion Mapping, Deferred Shading, and Bokeh Depth of Field. Do you know why I love all these modded GTA IV screenshots? Because they give us a glimpse of how next-generation graphics will actually look like. I bet that I’m not the only one wishing for a big leap in graphics and although right now we are – kind of – stuck with current generation consoles, we can take a look at the future with the following screenshots that GTA IV’s modders have captured. So, special thanks go to Dpeasant3, Vinz005, icelaglace, Slixent, Raigen, goobz, fzn09, opezdl, RAIKAMAN, and DarK64. As you may have guessed, those modders are using some custom-made ENBSeries settings and the end result is simply mind-blowing. Damn, can’t wait for the next-generation consoles.
