Battlefield 3 PC Now Features Falling Tower In Caspian Border; Battlelog and Servers Are Back Online

Admit it, you were a bit jealous that PS3 gamers could witness the fall of the antenna tower in the Caspian Border. And although DICE hadn’t revealed when this feature would pass on the PC version, look and behold as the latest PC patch that was released today features it. Oh yeah, PC gamers can now see the ‘falling antenna tower’ in the Caspian Border map. Moreover, both Battlelog and the PC patch are live right now, with the patch weighting over 3.5GB. DICE added some interesting features and in case you weren’t aware of, Ping is now present in the scoreboard and the chat window has been tweaked and moved to the top left of the screen. Furthermore, Battlelog has now more filter options as PC gamers can filter things like kill cam, vehicles, squad leader spawn. In other news, the Back to Karkand Expansion is live now on the PS3 and in order to celebrate its launch, DICE has released a new trailer, featuring explosive PlayStation 3 gameplay from the all-time classic map Wake Island.

Of Orcs and Men – Teaser Trailer Released

Focus Home Interactive has just released the teaser trailer of their upcoming action RPG game, Of Orcs and Men. Developed by Cyanide and Spiders for PlayStation 3 Xbox 360 and PC, this first teaser shows more of its unique universe and its two heroes through a minute of dynamic video.
This video is the opportunity to discover more of this roleplaying game endowed with a strong identity and unique ambiance, and its two heroes: a powerful Orc, and a Goblin, that all opposes except for their skin color, which earned them to be hunted down by the soldiers of the Empire of Men.
The game is currently slated for a 2012 release.

Terraria gives Modern Warfare 3 a run for its money

Yeap, you read that right. Indie game Terraria is giving Modern Warfare 3 a run for his money as their userbases are neck-to-neck after the latest, huge update of Re-Logic’s indie game that went live a few days ago. Jade Dynasty: Legacy Announced; new expansion for the free-to-play martial-arts MMORPG

Perfect World Entertainment announced today a new expansion to its free-to-play martial-arts MMORPG, Jade Dynasty. In Jade Dynasty: Legacy, players explore the secretive Incense Valley while fighting through the massive multi-staged instance, which is larger than any other dungeon currently available in this game.
Dean Sakurai, Product Manager, Perfect World Entertainment said:
“We couldn’t be more excited to publish a new chapter in the Jade Dynasty series. Jade Dynasty: Legacy is our biggest update since ‘Vengeance (August 2010)’ and features two new classes, enhanced character visuals, new instances and numerous other content updates. With Jade Dynasty: Legacy we add tremendously to a gaming experience already shared by millions.”
Jade Dynasty: Legacy will feature two New Classes as players can now choose between the Incense Valley Mages and Forta, a new instance called Crimson Peaks Voidland that promises to be the largest one in the game, reworked Character creation, several Balance and Enhancement, as well as new Content Updates.

Serious Sam 3: BFE is the best looking PC game to date; New screenshots with artistic touch

As we told you in our Performance Analysis, Croteam had included some color options in Serious Sam 3: BFE that can be tweaked on the fly. We bet that most gamers didn’t bother with them, so we went ahead and tried to capture some screenshots with some custom, artistic settings. It’s really amazing what some color/contrast/gamma calibration can do and in order to give you an idea of those promising – almost endless – choices, we’ve also included a before and after shot of a scene from the game. Now these screenshots are not with one custom setting, so there is no point in asking us about the options we used. Each and every screenshot was tweaked with different color/contrast/gamma values. Target.com has listed Diablo III for a February 7th release

We’ve seen various release dates for Diablo III, so here comes a new one from another online shop. According to Target.com, Diablo III will be released on February 7th. In case the date rings any bells, it’s the Valentine’s day and – wait for it – it’s on Tuesday. Now this could be possible, as most major game releases are happening on Tuesdays. However, we are uncertain of the date as Blizzard hasn’t announced any official one, so take that with a grain of salt. Battlefield 3 – No plans for VOIP PC changes; bad business to properly fix it

Now that’s really hilarious. As you may already know, Battlefield 3 does not properly support VoIP. Yes, you are still able to use it but that’s thanks to Battlelog as DICE’s platform offers this feature and not the game itself. Of course, there are various issues due to this decision and it seems that DICE is not willing to fix them by properly including VoIP support to Battlefield 3. The reason? It’s bad business. PC gamers, meet Against the Wall; A first person puzzle adventure game

PC gamers, meet a new first person puzzle adventure game that is developed by Michael P. Consoli. Against the Wall is a video game that is currently in development for the PC. In it, players journey up the side of an infinite wall, encountering civilizations, creatures, machines, and puzzles along the way.
