Death Wish Mod for Blood Released

Death Wish is a new campaign for Blood with over 30 new levels, cut scenes, and more that has just been released. Yeap, you read that right. It’s for Monolith’s and 3D Realms’ little gem, the first Blood that was a pseudo-3D FPS with enemies’ sprites. Cognition: An Erica Reed Thriller Announced; An episodic detective game in collaboration with Jane Jensen

Phoenix Online Studios, the team behind the episodic King’s Quest revival The Silver Lining, and Khaeon Gamestudio, an independent game developer based in the Netherlands, will combine their creative forces in Cognition: An Erica Reed Thriller. An episodic detective game, Cognition will have a supernatural storyline developed with help from renowned designer Jane Jensen, and graphic novel style visuals created by comic book artist Roman Molenaar. Next MechWarrior game is coming on Summer 2012, exclusively to the PC

The highly anticipated return of MechWarrior is coming exclusively to the PC on Summer 2012. That is revealed on the game’s final concept image that was given to the public via the game’s Twitter account a few minutes ago. Moreover, MechWarrior Online will be a free-to-play, team-based multiplayer BattleMech, will feature multiple upgrade paths, both for Mechs and pilots, as well as a variety of maps set across different environments and climates. Doom 3 source code packaged, tested and releasing in the coming days

Great news for everyone as John Carmack informed us – via its Twitter account – that Doom 3’s source code is packaged and fully tested. iD Software is now waiting on the final lawyer clearance and the package will then get released. This basically means that the source code will come out in the coming days and we can’t wait to see what the modding and indie developers will come up with. Overgrowth 155 Alpha Changes

Another week, another video about the changes that were made to Wolfire Games’ action-brawling adventure game, Overgrowth. This week, David Rosen added weight maps to control detail objects density, enabled object mirroring, changed how models are stored in memory for better stability. Overgrowth takes place in the savage world of Lugaru where rabbits, wolves and other animals are forced to use paws, claws and medieval weaponry to engage each other in battle. TERA – Halloween Trailer

It’s been a while since we saw TERA in action, right? Well MMORPG fans, here is a new trailer for it that is inspired by Halloween. In order to give a fairytale look and feel to it, Frogster added a clever cell-shaded effect that looks awesome – here is hoping that there will be such a filter in the final version of the game too. TERA is developed by Bluehole Studio and promises to combine the depth and flexibility of online PC games with the rich graphics, animation, and immediacy of console action games.
