Weekly Top 10 PC Charts; UK PC Retail and Steam Digital Charts [October 3rd – 8th]; RAGE dominates both charts

Great news for iD Software as RAGE has managed to sit on the first place of both the digital and the retail sales. The Sims 3 remained at the second place, whereas Fifa 12 lost two places. Still, it’s nice to see a sports title at the Top 5 and should prove to EA Sports that PC gamers can appreciate a next-generation and polished sports title. F1 2011 on the other hand has managed to win six places, while Starcraft 2 has re-entered the retail charts. Add to that the pre-baked shadows, old-generation shaders and limited dynamic lighting and you get a game that could be easily released several years ago.
