Techland had done it again. It’s hilarious, but we can’t help laughing with the crashes that were introduced by the latest patch of Dead Island. These are the same crashes that occuered to some gamers with the previous one, so obviously we’d expect it to be fixed. Sad news for fans of MYTHOS, as Frogster’s community manager announced that MYTHOS Europe will be closing its doors on October 27th at 12:00 CEST (11am UK). According to the team, MYTHOS enjoyed great popularity with the launch in April and the numerous registered users ensured a good start. The desired long-term success unfortunately did not follow and under these circumstances, they have made the difficult decision to discontinue the operation of MYTHOS. Keen Software has just announced that their in-house VRAGE engine got some brand new hi-end features implemented. VRAGE now supports Image-Based Anti-Aliasing (FXAA), Screen Space Ambient Occlusion, Real spot lights with shadows, Sun light with much better precision, HDR, environmental textures, bloom/blur and Multiple monitor support.
