Team Psykskallar had recently posted a call to increase awareness of our mod and promised to release four new co-op screenshots when they’d hit 1500 ‘likes’ in Facebook. The team has just informed us that they’ve reached that goal and here are the brand new screenshots of its co-op mode. Now I know that some of you might think that these screenies look dated, but keep in mind that Cry of Fear is a total conversion for the first Half-Life. Black Mesa can be definitely described as the next ‘Duke Nukem Forever’ in the mod-land. This bad boy has been in development for lots of years and although a lot of people think that it’s just a vaporware and nothing more, the team behind it has just released a brand new screenshot from its latest build. Now I’ll be honest here; it does look great. Yeah, this is a Source game but the level of detail is great and can keep up with today’s standards. Volition announced today that the PC version of Saint Row: The Third won’t be a mere port – like pretty much all of their previous games. Contrary to Saints Row 2, Volition decided to develop the PC version in-house, so that the PC version will be at the same level of playability as the console versions. EVGA released today a new video for Zombie Studios’ upcoming free-to-play FPS game that is powered by Unreal Engine 3, Blacklight Retribution, that showcases the advantages of having an Intel Solid State Drive. In addition, EVGA gives away some keys for the closed beta phase that will begin on November 10th. Those interested can participate in this contest here. Telltale’s upcoming ‘Heavy Rainy’ wannabe action adventure game that is inspired by Michael Crichton’s famous dino book, Jurassic Park, is now available for pre-order on Steam. In addition, the Steam version comes with a 10% discount until release. Jurassic Park: The Game begins where the Barbasol can left off: The dinosaur embryos that Dennis Nedry attempted to smuggle from the park in the faux Barbasol can remain missing. A mysterious rival corporation brings in Nima, a professional smuggler with intimate knowledge of the park’s island setting, to retrieve the embryos. At long last, the 16bit SNES JRPG that was being developed by Freebird Games is out now. In case you were unaware of, To The Moon is an indie RPG/adventure , about two doctors traversing through the memories of a dying man to fulfill his last wish. Electronic Arts released some brand, new screenshots for Starbreeze’s upcoming reboot of Syndicate. These new screenshots show the game’s co-op mode and contrary to what we’ve seen so far, the visuals in these new screenies look like a mix between Mirror’s Edge and Mass Effect. Syndicate is currently slated for a 2012 release on the PC and current generation consoles. Let’s hope that it will be a worthy successor to the turn-based strategy PC classic title.
