We were really excited to see what the modders had to offer us this week. Unfortunately though, we don’t have a lot of screenshots to share with you. Disappointed a bit? Well don’t, as we have some brand new videos from some amazing mods that are currently in development. rGOt’s ‘Crysis Revival Mod’ looks beautiful and we were quite impressed with MasterGod’s ‘Massive Destruction Mod’. Weekly GTA IV Gallery [09 – 15 October]; Impressive screenshots from GTA IV’s Community

Each and every week, we’ll be bringing you the best modded screenshots of GTA IV. This week, we have some brand new shots from jumper_311,  Tanner R, Class, Vinz005,  viettuan,  Damian989121, Black_D,  PacketOVerload_x64Bit, N.Style, legacyy, war963 and opezdl. All of the aforementioned modders did an amazing job and captured some astounding screenshots. We should note that this kind of image fidelity can be achieved by tweaking the ENBSeries settings, as well as using custom high-res texture packs. Enjoy the screenshots! John Carmack crashes PC gamers’ hopes for a High-Resolution Texture Pack on RAGE

You’ve probably already heard of a high resolution texture pack for RAGE was rumored to get released after its official launch. This rumored texture pack was supposed to be 150GB in size and would update the game’s low-res textures with some proper, high-res ones. Well, this is not gonna happen as John Carmack admited that the source textures are almost the same as the ones that are currently used in RAGE PC. Saints Row: The Third – Eyefinity Support Confirmed

THQ and Volition have just confirmed that the PC version of Saints Row: The Third will officially support AMD’s Eyefinity. This means that PC gamers can use multiple monitors to enjoy this upcoming third person sandbox game. The companies have also released a screenshots in which we can see the game running in ‘triple-monitors’ with Eyefinity and can be viewed after the jump. If there is one heli game that I’m really looking forward, that is definitely Bohemia’s Take On Helicopters. In fact, it seems to be the only heli sim game that will be released these coming days, so no real options here, right? WRC 2 – Patch v1.1 Is Now Available

Black Bean has just released a day-one patch for their latest rally racing game, WRC 2: The Official Game. This patch is 12MB in size and fixes some issues that most PC gamers were facing. Most importantly though is that this patch addresses the crashes that were occuring during the characters’ customization in “The Road to the WRC” game mode. C.A.R.S – New Build Released + New Drooling Screenshots

Slightly Mad Studios released a new build for their racing sim game, C.A.R.S, which adds a Race Mode and a Test Track. Team Members can now compete against up to 15 AI opponents in races of up to 99 laps while the Test Track is designed as a personal playground to test your vehicle’s performance/handling/power. RAGE – John Carmack promises that the next patch will alleviate the blurry textures in Rage PC

Great news for PC gamers as the man himself has stated a few minutes ago that the upcoming patch of RAGE will resolve all texture bluriness. As John Carmack tweeted, the new update for RAGE will include a bicubic-upsample plus a detail texture option that will eventually help alleviate the blurry textures in Rage.
