Miner Wars 2081 – Public Pre-Alpha Demo Released

Keen Software released today a demo build of their upcoming 6DOF space and base shooter, Miner Wars 2081. Miner Wars 2081 is played in an entirely destructible environment and will include single-player, co-op, and standard multi-player modes – with an MMOG in the works. The demo is 630MB in size and is based on the game’s latest build. The demo also sports the new rendering engine, as well as many other tweaks, including automatic turrets on motherships and numerous other cool stuff like 12 new playable ships (22 ships total). Stronghold 3 Released + Launch Trailer

7sixty and Firefly Studios announced today that Stronghold 3, the eagerly-awaited latest installment in the premier castle-building series is available across the globe today in stores and from digital retailers. In addition, Firefly Studios released the game’s launch trailer that can be viewed after the jump. Battlefield 3 meets Minecraft in this mind-blowing crossover

I’m seriously amazed by what Minecraft’s community can recreate/reproduce these days. Yesterday, we posted MineWars, a mashup between Minecraft and Star Wars – in case you haven’t seen it yet, please do so. It’s really amazing – and here comes today a cross-over between Battlefield 3 and Minecraft. So, we’ll call it MineField and let me tell you that I’d actually pay to play such mods guys. And I bet that I’m not the only one willing to. Developers, take notes; this is one of the reasons we love mods and why PC games should feature them. The Secret World hits over 500,000 registered users

Funcom announced today that over half a million people have registered to participate in the ongoing beta testing of ‘The Secret World’, a game that will be published by Electronic Arts. Almost everyone joining the community has chosen to affiliate themselves with one of the game’s three secret societies – the Illuminati, the Dragon, and the Templars – fueling the conflict that is already emerging on forums and social media channels everywhere. Grand Theft Auto V Officially Announced – First Trailer Coming On November 2nd

And it’s official guys. Grand Theft Auto V is under development and Rockstar has just officially announced it. In addition, the company revealed the game’s logo at its official site, while GTA V’s first trailer will be unveiled in a few days, on November 2nd. It will be interesting to see what Rockstar have in store for us and how this fifth part of the legendary GTA series turns out. Yesterday, we reported that Inversion is most probably coming to the PC. Good news, right? Well, get ready everyone as we have another big surprise for you. Other Ocean Interactive’s 2D action-adventure game, based on The War of the Worlds, is coming to our beloved platform. Yeap, it’s official. The War of the Worlds is coming to the PC. Naturally, no release date has been announced as of yet. Battlefield 3 – Nvidia owners be warned; Corrupted shadows and stuttering are introduced with Nvidia’s 285.62 Drivers

Battlefield 3 is the big star of these days and as we reported earlier today, Nvidia released some new drivers that are specifically optimized for it. Well, that’s what the green team states because in our testings we found out that these new drivers introduce two issues that might be related. To be more precise, the game suffers from major stuttering and corrupted shadows when they are set to the Ultra settings. Battlefield 3 – NO restrictions or bans on using a VPN to unlock the game earlier

Battlefield 3 has just been released in some countries, while the European release is officially slated to be unlocked on Friday 28th. Well, if you can’t wait until then, let us tell you that you can use a VPN to unlock the game earlier. What’s more interesting though is that there won’t be any restrictions or penalties if you decide to use this method of unlocking your game.
