Dead Island seems to still be the top choice of PC gamers, as it managed to remain at the first place of Steam’s weekly charts. F1 2011 that was released this week can be spotted at the third place, while Fallout: New Vegas’ latest DLC is at the second place. On the other hand, both Red Orchestra 2 and Deus Ex: Human Revolution lost four and three places respectively and Warhammer 40K: Space Marine – that was at the third place in the previous charts – is nowhere to be found. I’m shocked that this mod went under everyone’s radar . And that’s because 2027 features amazing graphics – well, for an Unreal 1 Engine game – and is the effort of a small Russian team to actually offer a true prequel to one of the best PC games ever. Oh, and contrary to pretty much all promising mods, this actually got released some days ago, so go get it while you still can. Remember that amazing mod for Crysis that is based on Naughty Dog’s platform game? Well, we have some bad news for you as Crash Bandicoot Returns is currently on hold. Now before jumping to early conclusions, this has nothing to do with the game’s copyrights. In other words, this is not due to either Sony or Activision, as they didn’t send a cease and desist to the team. Continue reading Crash Bandicoot Returns Mod for Crysis is currently on hold→
Dead Island has already met a huge success – even though it was released a few weeks ago – as Techland has managed to offer a great mix between Far Cry and Dead Rising. It is a fun game that needs to be played, even if you don’t funky all those zombie games out there. We were really curious to see how the game would perform as it shares the same engine with CoJ: The Cartel. Would it suffer from all those issues? Well, time to find out how the PC version performs with a modern-day PC. Continue reading Dead Island PC Performance Analysis→
MAME has gone a long way since its first release but if there is one system that was lacking support, that was definitely SEGA’s Model 3. Oh boy, those were the days! Continue reading Supermodel v0.2a is out now; Enjoy Scud Race, The Lost World and Virtua Striker 2 on your PC→
Gionight impressed us yet again with another set of screenshots. There is magic in almost every picture of gionight’s tweaked version of ENBSeries and get this right, you can actually download it and test it for yourselves. We really doubt that GTAV will be able to match these visuals but just imagine what modders will actually be able to accomplish if it is friendly to the modding community. Now that’s something to really look forward to. Till then, enjoy these brand new screenshots! Continue reading Weekly GTA IV Gallery [18 – 25 September]; Gionight strikes back→
