This week’s UK PC charts sees Football Manager 2011 at the first place and topping the critically acclaimed game from EA, The Sims 3: Generations. From the third to the sixth place there is no change at all. The Sims 3: Late Night gained three places and is now placed in the seventh place and although Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood and Fable III are back in action, F.E.A.R. 3 is nowhere to be found. Now here is something we didn’t expect. BioWare’s Casey Hudson revealed on his Twitter that BioWare will actually release a demo for their much-anticipated action RPG, Mass Effect 3. Great news for all those Dungeon Siege fans, as Obsidian released the much anticipated patch for Dungeon Siege 3. This is the first major patch for Dungeon Siege 3 and Obsidian has implemented two new controls that will allow the player to move left or right (think strafing). How can someone start an article about F.E.A.R. 3 and not mention its origins? Few years ago when I was younger, had more hair and was full of ideas and dreams, a new FPS caught my eye. It was F.E.A.R, an FPS that was developed by the talented Monolith team – the same studio that was behind some incredible games like Shogo, No One Lives Forever, Blood and Tron 2.0. F.E.A.R. was meant to be one of the best horror-themed first-person shooters and featured amazing AI, great fire-fights, engrossing story and mind-blowing graphics. EA has just released the second part of Fifa 11’s goals of the season. There are some pretty amazing goals, so be sure to check out the video after the jump. Although the much-anticipated 1.3 Patch for The Witcher 2 hasn’t been released yet, CD Projekt RED decided to share today a preview of its changelog. As we can see, this latest patch will include a new FREE DLC that will be called ‘A Sackful of Fluff’. Moreover, it will fully support 4:3, 5:4 and 16:10 aspect ratios, left handed players will finally be able to enjoy the game and will also bring a lot of fixes. Sony Online Entertainment has just revealed more details about Planetside 2. Among other things, the game is powered by the Forgelight MMO engine and is enhanced by Nvidia’s PhysX technology. As the press release reads, PlanetSide 2 takes all the groundbreaking features from the original game – massive multiplayer battles, distinctive empires to rally around, and enormous continents to support intense ground and air combat – and adds features that modern gamers have come to expect out of the FPS and MMO genres. EA released six new screenshots for their much-anticipated MMORPG that is developed by Funcom, makers of Age of Conan. The Secret World is a next-generation massively multiplayer online game for the PC platform, where players are given total freedom to create and progress their characters, unbound by the restrictions of classes and levels. Ubisoft confirmed today that the PC version of From Dust will be released alongside the console version on July 27th. The game will hit Steam and the Ubisoft store and will be priced at $19.95.
