IO Interactive has just released Title Update 1.0.6 for its latest James Bond game, 007 First Light, and shared its full patch notes. So, let’s see what this new patch brings to the table.
Patch 1.0.6 brings a collection of fixes, as well as title performance and stability improvements. According to the devs, this is a small update and not a major one. As such, you should keep your expectations in check. And no. This patch does not add the promised Path Tracing effects on PC.
Going into more detail, the update fixes a launch issue that affected some PCs with both a dedicated graphics card and an integrated GPU. In these cases, the game could select the integrated GPU by mistake, preventing it from launching properly. The patch also fixes a bug that caused players’ HDR settings to reset to their default values every time the game was restarted.
Patch 1.0.6 also includes several GPU performance improvements. These changes help reduce the risk of out-of-memory crashes, making the game more stable on PC. The update also fixes a crash that could occur during the “For England” mission. This issue could happen after using the Missile Pen gadget on explosive objects in the environment.
Like always, Steam will download this update the next time you launch its client. Below, you can also find its full patch notes.
