Ubisoft has released Title Update 3.2 for Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora, and shared its full patch notes. According to the changelog, this new patch is 3GB in size on PC, and it enables Intel XeSS Super Sampling.
Surprisingly enough, Ubisoft has downgraded the version of AMD FSR. The devs claim that they had to do this so that they could examine the visual artifacts that were present with the latest implementation of FSR 3.
Despite this rollback, though, the game keeps certain improvements that were introduced with the upgraded version of FSR. This means that the improvements to UI composition when using Frame Generation will remain.
Sadly, there is still no word on when – and if – the game will support NVIDIA DLSS 3 Frame Generation. I don’t know what is preventing Ubi from adding support for it. In theory, it should be easy. Hell, Star Wars: Outlaws will support DLSS 3 at launch, and it uses the same engine. So yeah, this seems a bit fishy.
Anyway, Patch 3.2 also adds a Fast Travel option to Research Station Alpha. Moreover, it controller re-mapping will no longer reset on game restart. You can also expect a number of bug fixes.
Like always, Ubisoft Connect and EGS will download this update the next time you launch their clients. Below you can also find its complete changelog.
