Larian Studios has released Patch 3 for Baldur’s Gate 3, and shared its complete changelog. According to the release notes, Update 3 improves performance in the Lower City of Act 3. Moreover, it improves overall performance by disabling faraway NPCs with automated overhead dialogues and in-world behaviours.
Additionally, Patch 3 optimizes turn order calculations in combat, how the game handles projectiles and the lighting in the Shadow-Cursed Lands. It also makes several optimisations when moving around the world on controller, and it improves performance in dense crowds.
