Gearbox has released a brand new update for Borderlands 3 that enables crossplay between consoles and PC. Thanks to this update, players on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Mac, Stadia, and PC can play together.
As Gearbox noted:
“Crossplay between the aforementioned platforms is made possible by SHiFT Matchmaking, and you’ll be greeted by an opt-in window when the Crossplay Update is live. Regardless of whether you choose to enable or disable Crossplay, you’ll be prompted to set a Crossplay Display Name, which is required for SHiFT Matchmaking functionality.”
This latest patch also brings the “The Revengence of Revenge of the Cartels” event. It also allows gamers to play any of Borderlands 3’s themed seasonal events whenever they like. These seasonal events are Bloody Harvest, Broken Hearts Day, and Revenge of the Cartels.
Lastly, the June 24th Patch increases the level cap by 7 levels to a max level of 72.
As always, Epic Games Store and Steam will download this update the next time you launch their clients. Below you can also find its complete changelog.
