After releasing its massive Patch 1.1.0a for Diablo 4, Blizzard released today a new small update for its action RPG. According to the changelog, the Diablo 4 July 20th Update removes the level requirement for World Tiers III and IV.
Additionally, this update forces Malignant Hearts to always grant armor that directly maps with their item power. So yeah, that’s a nice quality of life improvement.
As always, Battlenet will download this patch the next time you launch its client. This patch is 210MB in size, and only features the two aforementioned tweaks/changes. Thus, you should not expect any major performance improvements or new balance tweaks.
Do note that these changes are mainly for Season of the Malignant. Season of the Malignant introduces 32 Malignant Hearts that provide build-altering bonuses. The Hearts are broken into four categories, each with a corresponding color and unique keyword: Vicious (Orange, Offensive power), Brutal (Blue, Defensive power), Devious (Pink, Utility power), and Wrathful (Black, Super). This season will release later today.
