Capcom has just released the June 27th Title Update for Dragon’s Dogma 2, and shared its full patch notes. According to the devs, this patch includes additions and adjustments to the storage, as well as fixes to various issues. So, let’s take a closer look at it.
The June 27th Patch adds a function to sell items from the storage menu. It also adds a function to equip armor from the storage menu, as well as a function to equip armor from the storage when changing vocation in a vocation guild. Not only that but it increases the maximum number of items of one kind that can be put in storage from 99 to 999.
What’s also interesting is that this update fixes issues around CPU overload in certain situations. As Capcom noted, frame rates in areas with a lot of NPCs, such as town centers, should be improved. Moreover, the devs plan to make further frame rate improvements in future patches. Or at least that’s what they claimed.
I haven’t tested this update yet, so I can’t confirm whether or not there are any meaningful performance improvements. Still, it’s at least good to know that Capcom is working on them.
Speaking of DD2, I also suggest giving these mods a go. These mods will greatly enhance your gaming experience, so they are a must. In theory, they should be compatible with this latest version.
You can download this mod that improves its mouse camera movement. Another mod adds a cool lock-on combat mechanic. Then we have this mod that prevents you from falling off rocks and cliffs.
Let’s also not forget this mod that improves the quality of Ray Tracing, and reduces its smearing side effects. Moreover, you can download this mod to enable Path Tracing. It still has some issues but man, the game can look so good with Path Tracing. There is also this mod that adds teleport waypoints to all major locations. Then we have this mod that allows you to use the highest quality normal maps, and fixes a compression issue that could affect every single texture. Finally, you can get some 4K Texture Packs from here and here.
Like always, Steam will download this update the next time you launch its client. Below you can also find its complete changelog.
