Dragon's Dogma 2 new feature

Dragon’s Dogma 2 May 15th Patch Released and Here Are All Its Fixes, Tweaks & Changes

Capcom has released the May 15th Title Update for Dragon’s Dogma 2, and it shared its full patch notes. From the looks of it, this is a really small update. So, let’s take a closer look at it.

According to the release notes, the May 15th Patch fixes issues that prevented progression in some quests, and it packs miscellaneous bug fixes. And… well… basically that’s it.

For what it’s worth, Capcom hasn’t added yet official support for DLSS 3. Yes, there is a free mod that you can use in order to enable DLSS 3 Frame Generation. However, prior to the game’s launch, NVIDIA was claiming that DD2 would be officially supporting DLSS 3 from the get-go. And now, almost two months after its official release, there is still no native support for it.

Not only that, but Capcom hasn’t brought any additional CPU optimizations. Truth be told, the first patch did a pretty good job at reducing the game’s frame pacing issues and stutters. Since then, though, we haven’t gotten any major optimization improvements.

Right now, the game has Mixed Reviews on Steam. DD2 has sold well, so it’s kind of a bummer that Capcom hasn’t brought – yet – any additional optimizations.

Anyway, like always, Steam will download this update the next time you launch its client. Below you can also find its complete changelog.

Before closing, I suggest downloading the following mods for Dragon’s Dogma 2. These mods will greatly enhance your gaming experience, so they are a must. They should also be compatible with the game’s latest version. You can download this mod that improves its mouse camera movement. Another mod adds a cool lock-on combat mechanic. Then we have the Save Manager Mod which is a must-have mod. This mod allows you to start a new game, create multiple characters, and have an unlimited number of save files for each character. This mod forces the highest quality normal maps, and fixes a compression issue that could affect every single texture. Let’s also not forget this mod that improves the quality of Ray Tracing, and reduces its smearing side effects. Moreover, you can download this mod to enable Path Tracing. There is also this mod that adds teleport waypoints to all major locations. Finally, you can get some 4K Texture Packs from here and here.

Stay tuned for more!
