Capcom has released a brand new update for Dragon’s Dogma 2. According to the release notes, the May 31st patch finally adds official support for DLSS 3 Frame Generation.
Owners of an RTX40 series GPU will now be able to enable Frame Generation directly from the game. In other words, they won’t have to rely on this mod. Not only that but this official implementation should be better than the modded one.
Alongside DLSS 3 FG, the May 31st Title Update fixes some other issues. First, it solves an issue where the terrain sometimes didn’t show up on certain graphics cards. Second, it fixes a bug in the Guardian Gigantus quest where you couldn’t continue after watching a cutscene.
It’s also worth noting that this patch will increase the maximum number of items that can be put in the storage from 1000 to 3000. Plus, it fixes some additional issues where “the Main Pawn speaks support Pawn’s dialogue.”
From what I can see, Capcom has not implemented any CPU optimizations. So, at this point, we can safely say that there won’t be any major improvements in that tech area. We also haven’t heard whether there are any plans to add support for AMD FSR 3.0 Frame Generation.
As always, Steam will download this patch the next time you launch its client. Below you can also find its complete changelog.
