FromSoftware has just released a brand new update for Elden Ring. According to the release notes, Update 1.03.2 addresses a number of bugs. And yes, this patch also resolves the infinite death loop hack exploit that surfaced last week.
In case you weren’t aware, hackers were able to crash your game and corrupt your save files. This hack exploit could only happen in Online Mode (duh, obviously). And now, as the changelog states, this latest patch fixes the bug that allowed players to teleport others to incorrect map coordinates.
So far, this has been the only hack/exploit that plagued Elden Ring. The previous one that we’ve reported was fake. Thus, you can safely now play the game Online.
Alongside this fix, Update 1.03.2 also fixes a bug that sometimes prevented players from advancing NPC Nepheli Loux’s questline. It also fixes a bug that causes the playable character to die when trying to descend from a spot near Bestial Sanctum, as well as a bug that prevented Ash of War, Endure from taking effect.
As always, Steam will download this patch the next time you launch its client.
Have fun!
