Square Enix has just released the first update for the PC version of Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade. According to the company, this patch stabilizes the resolution for framerates that are higher than 90fps.
What this basically means is that DRS is still active by default. However, DRS won’t be as aggressive now as it was in the initial version.
Alongside this enhancement, this first patch makes English the default subtitles. Additionally, it rectifies various other issues (that Square Enix has not detailed).
Initially, this patch broke compatibility with FFVIIHook. Thankfully, though, its creator released a new version that is compatible with this update.
As always, Epic Games Store will download this PC update the next time you launch its client. Below you can also find its complete changelog.
