Ghost of Tsushima new feature

First Ghost of Tsushima PC Update released, fixing issues with DLSS 3 and FSR 3.0

Nixxes has released the first PC update for Ghost of Tsushima. According to the release notes, patch v1053.0.0522.1042 brings fixes to both NVIDIA DLSS 3 and AMD FSR 3.0. Additionally, it packs some stability improvements.

Going into more details, update v1053.0.0522.1042 resolves visual bugs that could show while transitioning from cut-scenes to gameplay with NVIDIA DLSS 3 Frame Generation Enabled. Moreover, it fixes a visual issue that could appear when combining AMD FSR 3 upscaling with Dynamic Resolution Scaling.

Nixxes claimed that it’s working on more updates to address other issues. Furthermore, they aim to further improve stability on specific hardware configurations and in Legends multiplayer mode.

Sadly, there is no word on when – and if – the game will become available in the countries from where it has been delisted. As such, those who live in these countries can only play GoT via illegal methods. It sucks really because Sony could have easily made the single-player mode of Ghost of Tsushima available in those countries.

Regardless of that, GoT appears to be a huge success on PC. According to Steam’s stats, it had a better launch than God of War, meaning that it’s now the best single-player PlayStation release on PC.

Like always, Steam will download this patch the next time you launch its client. Additionally, you can find below its full patch notes. Oh, and make sure to read our PC Performance Analysis.
