Horizon Zero Dawn feature 4

Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered Patch 1.2 Released & Detailed

Nixxes has just released Patch 1.2 for the PC version of Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered. This update fixes a number of bugs, and you can find below its complete changelog. So, let’s see what this patch addresses.

Title Update 1.2 brings audio improvements in pre-rendered cutscenes to address volume and multi-channel output issues. It also improves level of detail when viewing settlements from very far away.

The patch also fixes some visual issues with face paint on characters when using the Medium graphics preset or lower. Moreover, it removes neck seams that were visible on some characters. Plus, the devs claim that the update fixes various minor visual issues throughout the game.

And there is more. Mouse camera movement in Photo Mode is not interrupted on multi-monitor setups, and the update has minor bug fixes in widescreen cinematics. Players will be also able to charge their bow while performing a dodge roll. There are also improvements related to Steam Input to address a loss of controller functionality under certain conditions.

Nixxes claims that there are also some performance improvements. However, it did not go into more detail about them. In my opinion, you should not expect any major performance increases.

Like always, Steam will download this update the next time you launch its client. Below you can also find its full patch notes.
