Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered Patch 1.4 Released & Detailed

Nixxes has just released Patch 1.4 for Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered, and shared its complete changelog. So, let’s see what the devs have fixed, tweaked and improved in this latest update.

Title Update 1.4 fixes a crash that could occur while applying coils to weapons or outfits with mouse and keyboard. Moreover, it adds outfit transmog functionality.

This patch also brings improvements to audio mix to reduce excessive reverb in specific areas. Plus, mount acceleration now works as intended, incrementally increasing speed when pressing the acceleration button.

And that’s not all. Motion aiming now works as intended when riding a mount. Also, Steam Input now functions correctly if a controller is connected after launching the game. Oh, and it fixes a bug at Song’s Edge that blocked players standing up from a chair when using mouse and keyboard controls.

Patch 1.4 will also reduce ghosting on snow particles when using AMD FSR or Intel XeSS upscaling. This is great news for those that want to use these specific PC upscaling techs.
