Warhorse Studios has released Hotfix 1.1.2 for its latest RPG, Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2. This update brings key stability improvements, quest fixes, and platform-specific adjustments. So, let’s take a closer look at it.
Hotfix 1.1.2 will make the game more stable than before. For instance, it fixes a crash when looking at certain locked doors and chests. It also fixes a crash when spamming keys on the EULA screen. Plus, it resolves a crash when having conflicting versions of the Bink library, as well as a crash that could occur during the loading of the game (after finishing the dice mini-game).
This latest hotfix will also the improve issue with rewards sometimes requiring a game restart to be awarded. Not only that but it fixes the issue with achievements not being completed after longer than one hour of play on Epic Games Store. Also, it fixes the crossbow aiming zoom on ultrawide resolutions.
In theory, this update should work with the HD Texture Packs we’ve shared so far. Right now, you can find packs that improve the textures of NPCs and environments. I highly recommend using them as these packs will improve the game’s visuals.
Another must-have mod for KCD2 is this one that enables Async Compute. This isn’t a “placebo mod”. It actually works and it will improve your performance. So, don’t sleep on it. Plus, you can download this mod that allows you to save everywhere.
From the looks of it, KCD2 has sold incredibly well. In just one day, the game passed one million copies. It also hit over 250K concurrent players on Steam. Warhorse Studios has also revealed that the game passed two million sales in less than two weeks. The game also runs great on PC.
Like always, Steam will download this hotfix the next time you launch its client. Below you can also find its complete changelog.
Stay tuned for more!
