Nixxes has just released Title Update 6 for Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, and shared its full patch notes. So, let’s see what this new update brings to the table.
Patch 6 fixes a bug where ghosting could occur when NVIDIA DLSS Frame Generation and upscaling were enabled, causing parts of the player suit to become invisible. Moreover, it brings various improvements to NVIDIA DLSS Ray Reconstruction related to ray-traced ambient occlusion and ray-traced shadows.
NVIDIA DLSS is not the only upscaling tech that saw improvements. This update also packs some tweaks for Intel XeSS and AMD FSR. For instance, it updates Intel XeSS upscaling to version 2.0.1. This will fix bright visual artifacts that could occur when using XeSS. Furthermore, the devs fixed a bug that could cause distortion of visual effects when using AMD FSR Frame Generation in combination with upscaling.
Patch 6 also addresses a bug that could cause mission trails to appear as a white tube for some players. Not only that but it resolves a bug that prevented some players from receiving calls after missions, blocking their progress. Mission trails will no longer appear as a white tube for some players. Plus, the audio will no longer desynchronize if the user changes the application focus while a cutscene is loading.
Like always, Steam will download this update the next time you launch its client. Below you can also find its complete changelog.
