Konami has just dropped Update 1.30 for METAL GEAR SOLID: MASTER COLLECTION Vol.1, and shared its full list of fixes, tweaks and changes.
This update brings save functionality improvements to the first Metal Gear Solid game. Additionally, it updates the Online Manual, and fixes some other minor issues.
For the second MGS game, Konami has resolved an issue where a “Damaged File” error is sometimes displayed when trying to load save data. It also resolved an issue affecting users who purchased the game in Japan where the English opening video would play even in the Japanese version of the game.
As for Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater, the devs fixed an issue where some buttons were assigned multiple functions. It also addresses an issue where the audio was out of sync with certain videos.
Before closing, Konami shared the list of the issues it’s currently looking into. These are mostly minor issues, like one that sometimes causes certain cutscenes to stop playing or another issue where some face paints are displayed in a lower resolution. You can find the full list of them below.
Like always, Steam will download this update the next time you launch its client. Below you can also find its full patch notes.

Still, the PC platform won him over consoles. That was mainly due to 3DFX and its iconic dedicated 3D accelerator graphics card, Voodoo 2.
