Nixxes has just released Patch 1.815.0.0 for Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart, and revealed its complete changelog/update notes. According to the team, this update is mostly a Quality-Of-Life hotfix that addresses some crashes.
Moreover, Patch 1.815.0.0 for Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart fixes an issue that could cause a visual jitter effect on water bodies and puddles. It also brings various user interface improvements and bug fixes for Photo Mode and other in-game menus and popups.
I should also note that our framepacing/stuttering fix does no longer work. The previous update broke compatibility with it, so you can’t resolve the game’s framepacing issues (that is of course if you have them. Some may not encounter them or may not even notice them).
Lastly, I strongly suggest using the NVIDIA GeForce Hotfix Driver 537.09. This driver slightly improves performance when using DirectStorage GPU decompression on NVIDIA graphics cards. The game still runs slower than with CPU decompression on high-end CPUs, but this driver at least provides a nice performance boost,
As always, Steam will download this update the next time you launch its client. Below you can also find its complete changelog.
