Respawn has just released a new update for Star Wars Jedi: Survivor. According to the release notes, Update 7.5 packs a couple of fixes and improves the quality of reflections when Ray Tracing is disabled.
Going into more details, Patch 7.5 brings fixes for creature & vehicle animations. It also packs a fix for binocular beacons that were not working correctly when ray tracing was disabled.
Unfortunately, this patch does not bring any performance improvements. It also does not fix the game’s traversal stuttering issues. And I’m almost certain that there are still crashes in Jedha when using Ray Tracing.
At this point, we can safely assume that Respawn will not bring any major performance or optimization improvements to the game. The only way via which you can get a great PC gaming experience in this game is by using a high-end PC system to brute force your way. Yes, you’ll still get some traversal stutters but it won’t be a stuttery mess.
Anyway, as always, Steam and the EA App will download this patch the next time you launch their clients. Below you can also find its complete changelog.
