Star Wars Jedi Survivor new feature

Star Wars Jedi Survivor Patch 7 adds support for DLSS 2 & DLSS 3 Frame Generation

Respawn has just released Patch 7 for Star Wars Jedi Survivor, and shared its complete changelog. According to the release notes, the Star Wars Jedi Survivor Update 7 brings additional performance and optimization improvements to PC, and adds official support for DLSS.

From the looks of it, the game will only support DLSS 2 and not DLSS 3 Frame Generation. As such, RTX 40 series owners will still have to rely on PureDark’s DLSS 3 Mod. But hey, at least we can now use DLSS 2 in order to get a better image quality. As we reported a while ago, the game looked significantly better with the DLSS 2 Mod.

UPDATE:

This patch adds support for both DLSS 3 Super Resolution and DLSS 3 Frame Generation. As such, PC gamers won’t have to use PureDark’s DLSS 3 Mod. Since the game now officially supports DLSS 3, we’ll be sure to re-test it, so stay tuned for more!

I also hope that this patch fixes the crash issues that could occur in Jedha when using Ray Tracing. The release notes do not list it, so it will be hilarious if this bug is still there. And if it’s still present, let’s at least hope that this mod will work with this latest version of Jedi Survivor.

As always, Steam will download Update 7 for Star Wars Jedi Survivor the next time you launch its client. Below you can also find its complete changelog.
