Aspyr has released the third major title update for Tomb Raider I-III Remastered, and it shared its full patch notes. This patch brings fixes and tweaks to all three TR games. So, let’s take a closer look at it.
Title Update 3 adds a new outfit selector which will let you customize your outfit at any time. Moreover, it improves combat in Modern Controls in all three games, and it enhances the 3D model of Lara Croft.
This latest patch fixes the issue with modern controls showing the sky when the camera goes through corners. It also resolves an issue where Greek translations would show up too wide in some of the menus.
It’s also worth noting that Update 3 also comes with some visual improvements. For instance, it adds the missing water caustic effects to TR1 and TR2. It also packs various improvements to fire FX across all three games.
Naturally, this patch also addresses specific issues that affected each and every TR game. For example, it fixes an issue where bats would sometimes flicker upon death in TR1. Plus, it fixes an issue where the wrong texture was being used on the snowmobile in “The Cold War” level in TR2. Oh, and the posters of Lara Croft in “Sleeping with the Fishes” are now appearing in HD mode.
Like always, Steam will download this update the next time you launch its client. Below you can also find its complete changelog.
