Well, we all knew this would eventually happen. Palworld is often described as “Pokemon with guns”. And, to the surprise of no one, modders are already working on a Pokemon mod for it. And although there is no way to download it as of yet, you can go ahead and take a look at its first gameplay video.
X’s ‘Toasted’ has shared the following video, in which we can see a lot of iconic characters and Pokemon from Pokemon. Thanks to this mod, players are able to now control Ash. Misty, Brock and even Team Rocket will be also there. And yes, most of your favourite Pokemon will be included in it. Pikachu, Piplup, Fuack, Torchic and more will be available.
Toasted claimed that he will release a showcase video for this mod tomorrow on YouTube. And you can bet your… “ashes” that Nintendo will immediately take it down.
Palworld has been available for only three days and this Pokemon mod already looks quite polished. However, I don’t know whether we’ll get a download link for it anytime soon. I mean, who would take that risk? For what it’s worth, NexusMods already has some mods for Palworld so let’s hope that someone will upload it there.
For those wondering, Palworld has an “offline” mode. Without an Internet connection, you can launch the game and after some network messages, you can jump into a solo game offline. My guess is that this will be the best way to experience this Pokemon Mod once it comes out.
It’s also worth noting that Palworld has surpassed over 5 million sales in three days. Palworld is currently one of the most successful PC releases. And, ironically, the game is still in Early Access. I guess that’s what Fntastic was hoping to achieve with The Day Before.
From the looks of it, this game will keep selling like hotcakes. And yes, I expect its sales to skyrocket once this Pokemon Mod releases. Seriously, just take a look at the video. It looks great.
Stay tuned for more!
