Modder Ridog8 just dropped a new HD Mod for Monster Hunter World. This mod revamps more than 130 textures and actually has better ones than the official HD Texture Pack. So, if you are currently playing this game, you might want to check it out.
My guess is that Ridog8 uses AI tools in order to enhance the original textures. Or at least that’s my assumption after watching his comparison video. This basically means that this Texture Pack retains the art style of the game. At the same time, the visual improvement does not appear to be that great. Yes, the new textures are slightly better. However, this isn’t anywhere close to what the HD Reworked Projects for Cyberpunk 2077 or Starfield have achieved. In short, make sure to temper your expectations
Anyway, if you are interested in these new HD textures, you can download them from this link. As said, at the end of the article, you will find a comparison video. This will give you an idea of what you can expect from it. So, be sure to watch it.
Speaking of Monster Hunter World, here are some other mods for it. Do note that these are mainly character swap mods. So, this mod brings Levi Ackerman from Attack on Titan into the game. Another one lets you play as 2B from NieR Automata. There’s even a mod that adds Halo’s Master Chief to the Monster Hunter World universe. You can also get mods to become characters like Samus from Metroid Prime, Pneuma from Xenoblade 2, Genji Baihu or Genji Oni from Overwatch, and Aranea, the female mercenary from Final Fantasy XV. And don’t miss the mod that adds to the game Triss Merigold and Yennefer from The Witcher 3.
Have fun and stay tuned for more!
