Modder ‘shreddah4’ has released a new fan expansion for Fallout 4, called Caves Of The Commonwealth. This mod adds 5 brand new Cave locations and 5 new quests, offering around 2-4 hours of additional gameplay.
The five new locations come with their own custom textures and material swaps. In total, there are 7 interior cells. Plus, you’ll discover some awesome weapons and clothes that also have custom textures. Not only that but each quest has optional side objectives. Oh, and there is also a couple of skill checks.
There are multiple ways to approach Caves of the Commonwealth. The official start to the quest is by entering the cave north west from vault 111. Once inside you will find a Map that will direct you to the rest of the caves. However, If you want, you can find the caves via normal exploration.

Speaking of DLC-sized mods for Fallout 4, we also suggest checking out the following ones. Fallout New Vegas Remake in Fallout 4 is an unreleased mod that we’re really looking forward to. Then we have the Fallout London fan expansion. And let’s not forget Fallout: Miami. All of them look interesting, though there is no ETA on when they will come out. A couple of days ago we also shared America Rising 2. America Rising 2 integrated the Enclave faction into the main story with 24 main quests.
We also suggest downloading the Disk Cache Enabler and Long Loading Times Fix Mods. The first mod reduces the disk calls, leading to less freezing and fewer sound drops. On the other hand, the second mod fixes the game’s long loading times.
Have fun!
