Modder ‘JaySerpa’ has released a pretty cool mod for Skyrim Special Edition that introduces dynamic animations based on the character’s skill level or race.
The Skill Based Dynamic Animations Mod currently covers magic, archery and sneaking, and they are for both the player and the NPCs. In order to showcase the new dynamic animations, the modder shared the following GIFs.
Here’s an example. If your sneak skill is between 1 to 50, your character will use the game’s vanilla animations.
From 50 to 75 sneak skill, your character will have these “more sneaky” custom animations.
And then, above 75 sneak skill, you will have the ultimate sneaky animations.
You can download the Skill Based Dynamic Animations Mod for Skyrim Special Edition from here. Do note though that for archery/magic you’ll have to download other animation packs. The modder recommends Vanargand Animations – Archery and Goetia Animations – Magic Spells.
Since this mod will bring more variety to your character and NPCs, we recommend using it. In future versions, the modder would love to give each race their own power attack animations.
Speaking of Skyrim Special Edition, we also suggest taking a look at these other mods for it. In theory, the following mods should be compatible with it. This Call of Duty Mod adds to the game 12 new fully functional weapons from it. Then we have this mod that adds to Skyrim over 7000 voiced lines via AI. There is also this mod that adds to the game The Witcher 3 Ciri/Geralt Voices. Another cool mod is this one that adds destructible objects to the game. Oh, and let’s also not forget this mod that adds unlimited dynamic light sources.
Lastly, here are some DLC-sized fan expansions. Wyrmstooth is an expansion-sized mod that adds new quests and dungeons. There is also a mod that brings elements from The Witcher games to Bethesda’s RPG. Dragon Hall Tavern is another 2GB DLC-sized mod for Skyrim, adding new quests, locations, arena & more. Then we have Land of Vominhem, Apotheosis and Legacy of the Dragonborn. You should also check out this Castlevania-inspired mod, as well as this mod that adds to the game the Nemesis system from Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor. And finally, this DLC-sized Mod adds six main isles to explore.
