HDPacks has released a must-have HD Texture Pack for The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild that weighs around 17GB in size. This pack will update all of the game’s textures, and it’s a must for everyone who plans to play it.
According to the modder, every texture in the game has been upscaled, as well as fonts, inventory icons, and some other details. The end result is quite amazing, and we highly recommend downloading it from this link.
To showcase the visual improvements, HDPacks shared the following video. This video compares the game’s vanilla textures with the modded ones. And, from what we can see, the modded textures look better in every way. So, be sure to watch it as it can give you a pretty good idea of what you can expect from it.
Now the good news here is that this HD Texture Pack is compatible with both Ryujinx and Yuzu. As such, you can keep using your favorite Nintendo Switch emulator. This is really important for those who don’t want to switch to a different Nintendo Switch emulator for just one game.
Thanks to its modding community, Breath of the Wild currently plays wonderfully on PC. Right now, we are at this point that we don’t even need an official PC port of it. This is huge. And, like I said before, this shows why mods are so important.
Speaking of Breath of the Wild, we also suggest taking a look at these other mods for it. PC gamers can enjoy the game with a higher FOV and an “Over the Shoulder” camera. Then we have this mod that allows you to play it in first-person mode. And finally, you can download a DLC-sized fan expansion, called Doors of Doom.
Enjoy and stay tuned for more!
