Modder ‘Halk Hogan’ has shared a new video for his amazing The Witcher 3 HD Reworked Project NextGen Edition Mod. This video shows off some of the new textures that the modder will include in its upcoming version.
For those unaware, The Witcher 3 HD Reworked Project improves the game with top-notch textures that look great and run smoothly, without needing more VRAM. If you’re already playing on Max settings, you’ll be able to use this mod. The pack includes high-quality, accurate normal maps, many of which are made from detailed 3D models. The project also brings better LODs for objects.
In short, this is a must for everyone who plays CDPR’s RPG. Also, you can download its first version from this link. So, make sure to download and use it until this new version comes out.
In this video, the modder compares the vanilla textures in Kaer Trolde Village with the modded ones. Since this is a comparison video, it will give you an idea of what you can expect from it. So, be sure to watch it.
Speaking of The Witcher 3 Next-Gen, you may also want to take a look at these other mods for it. For instance, you can download a really cool first-person mod. Furthermore, the Characters Reworked Project improves the quality of over 100 characters. Yesterday, we shared a must-have gameplay overhaul mod. Let’s also not forget this mod that lets you kill most in-game NPCs. In December 2023, we shared this mod that restores content that was cut from all previous The Witcher games. Then we have the Witcher 3 Next-Gen Combat Redux Mod. Earlier this month, we shared a mod that attempted to remove the fake “hero” light from the game’s cut-scenes. Finally, you can get 8K Texture Packs for Ciri, Triss Merigold, Geralt and Yennefer.
Enjoy and stay tuned for more!
