3D artist Sander Vander Meiren has created a a pirate-era village ruin environment, inspired by Uncharted 4, in Unreal Engine 4. According to Sander, everything has been created by him in this scene (except for some folliage textures that are from megascans in order to speed up the work).
While this won’t give you an idea of what Uncharted 4 could look in Unreal Engine 4, it’s pretty cool witnessing individuals trying their best to come close to what triple-A studios have already achieved in other engines.

While he is a die-hard PC gamer, his gaming roots can be found on consoles. John loved – and still does – the 16-bit consoles, and considers SNES to be one of the best consoles. Still, the PC platform won him over consoles. That was mainly due to 3DFX and its iconic dedicated 3D accelerator graphics card, Voodoo 2. John has also written a higher degree thesis on the “The Evolution of PC graphics cards.”
