The PC Open Beta testing phase for Call of Duty Black Ops 4 has begun and below you can find some 4K screenshots from it on Max settings. We’ve used our AMD Radeon RX Vega 64 graphics card in order to capture these screenshots and we have included MSI Afterburner in order to give you an idea of the performance in 4K.
The Multiplayer Beta features six modes—Team Deathmatch, Domination, Hardpoint, Kill Confirmed, Search & Destroy, and Control. You will battle over six distinct maps—the four already seen at various events, plus two new ones, Gridlock and Hacienda—across playlists that showcase all the content that the Specialists revel in.
To be honest, I wasn’t really impressed by the visuals of this PC open beta. In my opinion, the game looks washed out and neither the lighting nor the textures were particularly impressive. Since Call of Duty Black Ops 4 will not have a single-player campaign (that could theoretically feature better visuals), we can assume that the final version will look similar to the open beta.
We are pretty sure that Reshade can do wonders in this title, however, we are not certain whether it will be allowed. After all, this will be an online-only title. As such, we suggest avoiding it just so you can be safe.
Enjoy!
