A couple of hours ago we informed you about the new Resident Evil game that Capcom is currently working on. And it appears that its first low-resolution screenshots have been leaked via its official YouTube video.
Below you can find the YouTube video thumbnails. I’ve also included a larger image, so be sure to open it in a new tab. Of course the larger images are full of artifacts. However, they will give you a slight idea of what you can expect from this new RE game.
As we can clearly see, Project Resistance is not the Resident Evil 3 Remake a lot of RE fans have been hoping for. Instead, and as we guessed, this looks like a spin-off title.
These thumbnails give me a Left4Dead impression so we’re either looking at a new part or a remake of Resident Evil Outbreak, or a game similar to Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City. If the last image is anything to go by, Project Resistance will support co-op with up to four players.
As we’ve already reported, Capcom will officially reveal this new RE game on September 3rd. Although we don’t have any additional details about it, we do know that it will release on Steam.
Enjoy the following images!
UPDATE:
Here are the screenshots in higher resolution.

While he is a die-hard PC gamer, his gaming roots can be found on consoles. John loved – and still does – the 16-bit consoles, and considers SNES to be one of the best consoles. Still, the PC platform won him over consoles. That was mainly due to 3DFX and its iconic dedicated 3D accelerator graphics card, Voodoo 2.
