Bethesda has released the first official screenshots for DOOM Eternal. Powered by the id Tech 7 Engine, DOOM Eternal promises to bring the ultimate combination of speed and power with the next leap in push-forward, first-person combat.
As the DOOM Slayer, players will return to take theirr vengeance against the forces of Hell. Set to an all-new pulse pounding soundtrack composed by Mick Gordon, players will fight across dimensions as they slay new and classic demons with powerful new weapons and abilities.
Thanks to the id Tech 7 Engine, the game will feature levels/places we have never been before in a Doom game, will display 10X times higher geometric detail than its predecessor, and will also display greater texture fidelity than id Software has ever put on screen.
Enjoy!

While he is a die-hard PC gamer, his gaming roots can be found on consoles. John loved – and still does – the 16-bit consoles, and considers SNES to be one of the best consoles. Still, the PC platform won him over consoles. That was mainly due to 3DFX and its iconic dedicated 3D accelerator graphics card, Voodoo 2.
