Star Citizen’s free weekend is a go, and below you can find some truly amazing Star Citizen 4K screenshots. Star Citizen is an upcoming PC exclusive space title that is powered by CRYENGINE and in order to give you an idea of the performance we were getting on a single GTX980Ti, we kept our MSI Afterburner active.
Keep in mind that since this is a pre-release build, it does not reflect the performance or the visuals of the final build.
Star Citizen is a really beautiful game that comes with high-resolution textures and some amazing reflections (screen space reflections). And it can be easily described as a next-gen experience, even in this early stage.
As a bonus, it appears that Assassin’s Creed: Unity’s infamous bug is also present in Star Citizen. This happens because it takes a while to load all of the game’s assets, something that will be hopefully resolved in later versions of the game.
Enjoy!

Still, the PC platform won him over consoles. That was mainly due to 3DFX and its iconic dedicated 3D accelerator graphics card, Voodoo 2.
