It appears that a new set of beautiful 4K screenshots for STALKER 2: Heart of Chornobyl has been leaked online. These screenshots are not from the recently leaked dev builds, and appear to be really polished.
STALKER 2 aims to feature an epic, non-linear story. Furthermore, your choices will influence both short-term consequences and global outcomes. The game will take place inside the Chernobyl exclusion zone, and it will have new locations along with the old ones.
The game will be using Unreal Engine 5 and was originally targeting a 2022 release date. In June 2022, GSC GameWorld announced that the game has been delayed until 2023. Realistically, though, I expect this game to slip into 2024.
My guess is that we’ll hear more about this new STALKER game in a few days. GSC GameWorld may showcase the game at Microsoft’s Xbox Showcase. And, if that doesn’t happen, we may see STALKER 2 at the Summer Game Fest 2023.
Enjoy and stay tuned for more!
UPDATE:
Screenshots removed due to a DMCA from GSC GameWorld.

Still, the PC platform won him over consoles. That was mainly due to 3DFX and its iconic dedicated 3D accelerator graphics card, Voodoo 2.
