Ascendant Studios has shared a new set of screenshots for its Unreal Engine 5-powered single-player magic FPS, Immortals of Aveum.
According to the developers, the environment showcased in these screenshots is the area of Lucium near the front lines of the Everwar. This area features stone fortresses, pastoral hamlets, and magically twisted landscapes.
Immortals of Aveum is a single-player magic FPS, powered by Unreal Engine 5. In this game, players will experience this visceral and cinematic, story-driven game through the eyes of Jak.
Immortals of Aveum will be one of the first games that will take advantage of UE5’s Nanite and Lumen. And, as we’ve already reported, its PC requirements appear to be quite high.
For what it’s worth, these new Immortals of Aveum screenshots look actually great. So yeah, while its PC requirements are high, the game appears to be a great looker. Or at least that’s what these screenshots imply. These screenshots will basically remind you of a heavily modded version of Skyrim. Or at least that’s the vibe I’m getting from them.
Electronic Arts was originally planning to release this single-player magic FPS on July 20th. However, the game has been slightly delayed until August 22nd. Lastly, you can find its latest gameplay trailer here.
Enjoy the screenshots and stay tuned for more!
