Modder ‘HalkHoganPL’ has released a new set of comparison screenshots between the latest version of his amazing The Witcher 3 HD Reworked Project and the vanilla game. These screenshots showcase some of the new textures that HalkHoganPL has included in the upcoming version of his mod and they look great.
In case you weren’t aware of, The Witcher 3 HD Reworked Project aims to overhaul CD Projekt RED’s title, featuring high quality meshes with a lot of details (most of them are created from scratch and good optimalization is preserved), very high quality detailed textures with great sharpness and performance, without any unnecessary VRAM losses, very high quality accurate normal maps and specially customized materials for all reworked stuff.
Version 5.1 promises to be the biggest update ever and it will noticeably make the game much more beautiful. Although there is no ETA yet, the modder claims that it will release soon.
Enjoy the following comparison screenshots (vanilla is on the left whereas modded is one the right) and stay tuned for more!

Still, the PC platform won him over consoles. That was mainly due to 3DFX and its iconic dedicated 3D accelerator graphics card, Voodoo 2.
