Modder ‘BadassBaboon’, creator of the RealityV Mod for GTA 5, is working on a new mod for it. This mod aims to significantly improve the game’s Ray Tracing reflections, and below you can find some screenshots from it.
As the modder noted, the game’s assets were not updated to take full advantage of the brand-new ray tracing. As such, the ray-traced reflections are not looking that impressive in the vanilla version. With this V:DE add-on, though, puddles, reflective surfaces, glasses and windows will look better. BadassBaboon claims that with his mod, the game will take full advantage of RT. At least for its reflections.
There is currently no ETA for when this mod will come out. However, you can find below some screenshots from it. These screenshots will give you an idea of what you can expect from it. Keep in mind, though, that the mod is still in WIP. So, these shots do not reflect the quality of the final version.
Naturally, I’ll be sure to share a download link to this mod once it comes out. Since the RealityV Mod is available for free, I’m pretty sure this one will be too. Unless the modder decides to put it behind a Patreon wall. It seems unlikely, but hey, you never know.
GTA 5 Enhanced Edition introduced Ray Tracing effects to the PC version. To be more precise, it now supports RTGI, RTAO, RT shadows, and RT reflections. At specific times, these RT effects can greatly improve the game’s visuals. And now, with these two graphics mods, the game can look even better.
Right now, we have two cool graphics mods for it. The first one is the RealityV Mod. The second is ChromatiX Enhanced. Both of them look amazing, so be sure to check them out if you are currently replaying GTA5.
It’s also worth noting that the modding team behind NaturalVision is also working on a version for GTA 5 Enhanced Edition. NaturalVision was one of the best graphics mods for GTA 5. So, I’m kind of looking forward to it. Right now, there is no ETA for when it will come out.
Enjoy and stay tuned for more!
