Last week, we informed you about a new graphics mod for the first classic Mafia game called Mafia Redux. Created by modder ‘GhostCZMods’, this mod aims to add new textures and 2D/3D assets to it. Mafia Redux 1.1 will release in January 2018 and GhostCZMods shared with us some new screenshots from it.
These screenshots showcase some of the new textures and 2D/3D assets/models that the modder has added. Mafia Redux 1.1 will feature new roads, new sidewalks, new barrels, a new loading bar, a new window design, a new design of cigarettes and new skins for Tom, Paulie, Sam. Furthermore, it will add new sky textures, new trees, a new police uniform and a new sound system (guns, cars in the crash, and more details).
We’ll be sure to let you know when this mod gets out. Until then, enjoy the following screenshots. GhostCZMods also told us that he’s looking for someone who can help him with this mod (texture and scripting). So feel free to visit this mod’s Facebook page.
Enjoy!

Still, the PC platform won him over consoles. That was mainly due to 3DFX and its iconic dedicated 3D accelerator graphics card, Voodoo 2.
