Tripmine Studios has released a new set of screenshots for its upcoming Source Engine fan remake of Half-Life: Opposing Force, Operation: Black Mesa. The developers plan to recreate the Black Mesa research Facility and the entire Half-Life spin-off. And, as you may have guessed, you will assume the role of Corporal Adrian Shephard.
These new screenshots showcase some of the game’s environments. Naturally, things may change in the future but since this fan remake is still in an early stage, you can at least get an idea of what the team aims to create.
Unfortunately, there is no ETA on when this fan remake will come out. The good news here is that the team will not receive any C&D letter from Valve. Therefore, it’s only a matter of time before this remake comes out. Unless of course the team abandons the project.
But anyway, enjoy the following screenshots and stay tuned for more!

While he is a die-hard PC gamer, his gaming roots can be found on consoles. John loved – and still does – the 16-bit consoles, and considers SNES to be one of the best consoles. Still, the PC platform won him over consoles. That was mainly due to 3DFX and its iconic dedicated 3D accelerator graphics card, Voodoo 2.
