Modder ‘Halk Hogan PL’ has released a new set of comparison screenshots between the vanilla version of The Witcher 3 and the latest version of his HD Project. These latest screenshots showcase some of the terrain/rocks textures that have been reworked.
According to the modder, the upcoming version of HDRP will feature improved textures for all terrain/rocks surfaces (excluding Toussaint as these will be done in BaW Update after this release). Furthermore, the reworked textures have much better quality and they look less flat than original ones.
Unfortunately there is still no ETA on when this new version of The Witcher 3 HD Project will release. As we’ve already said, our guess is that it will come out later this Summer (so we are most likely looking at a July or August release).
The Witcher 3 HD Project is by far one of the best Texture Packs/Mods for CD Projekt RED’s RPG. Halk Hogan PL has improved numerous textures and it’s great knowing that he still plans to enhance those textures that were left untouched in the previous versions of his mod.
Below you can find the comparison between the vanilla and the modded game. The Witcher 3 vanilla is on the left, whereas The Witcher 3 HD Project is on the right.
Enjoy and stay tuned for more!
