Resident Evil Remaster is coming in early 2015 on PC, current-gen and old-gen consoles. And while Capcom has only revealed screenshots from the old-gen version, NeoGAF member ‘Sectus‘ has captured a number of Wii screenshots from the first remake of Resident Evil in order to compare them with the new, upcoming HD overhaul. Do note that Sectus used a Wii emulator, meaning that the IQ difference is even higher than what is being displayed below. On the left we have the Remaster version and on the right we have the Wii version. Enjoy!

While he is a die-hard PC gamer, his gaming roots can be found on consoles. John loved – and still does – the 16-bit consoles, and considers SNES to be one of the best consoles. Still, the PC platform won him over consoles. That was mainly due to 3DFX and its iconic dedicated 3D accelerator graphics card, Voodoo 2. John has also written a higher degree thesis on the “The Evolution of PC graphics cards.”
