InvictusVolition has shared some screenshots from his new futuristic military first-person shooter, Russia 2055. Unfortunately we don’t know much about this shooter, other than it is being developed by a single person and that it is powered by Unreal Engine 4.
Now from what we can see, there is currently only one map (and that is unfinished) so I don’t expect this project to come out anytime soon. In fact, and given that it is being created by an individual, it may never see the light of day. From what we’ve gathered this may be a multiplayer game that will support 64 players.
Still, I really like Russia 2050’s art style. InvictusVolition has managed to create some really realistic visuals, though I have to say that he should tone down the post-processing effects. Other than that, I really like its de-saturated graphics and all of the characters that are shown are highly detailed; from the big alien to the marines and the mechs.
Again, this may never see the light of day. For the time being it appears to be a really cool WIP project and we really hope that InvictusVolition will at least finish this one map, introduce some gameplay elements and at least release it to the public.
Enjoy the screenshots!
